GENERAL INFORMATIONS

Access to sites

At the entrance to the venues, festival-goers must present their ticket, printed or on their mobile device, in order to have access to the show.

Shows are free for children 10 and under.

Only the Mont-Béchervaise site will be equipped with chairs and benches for some festival-goers, personal chairs are prohibited for this show. For the other sites, festival-goers who wish to bring their folding chair can do so, but will be asked to position themselves at the back of the area provided for listening to the shows.

By participating at the festival activities, you consent that Musique du Bout du Monde uses images captured during the event for promotional purposes.

All shows are outdoors. You must plan to wear appropriate clothing for the weather. In case of cancellation for security reasons, we will communicate with you by email and via our Facebook page.

No exchange, refund or credit available, except for cancellation from the Festival.

A restaurant service, bar and various commercial kiosks will be available on some sites. Festival-goers will need a credit card to process payment. Festival-goers are prohibited from bringing their own drink to the site.

If you live or need to travel through the great Gaspé region, it is possible to get to the Festival thanks to the Régie Intermunicipale de Transport: RÉGÎM. For the entire duration of the event, RÉGÎM will set up two FMBM special lines. These transport lines will be free upon proof of a Festival access ticket.

Moreover, in order to facilitate your travels during the festival, we have put at your disposal three shuttles.   

  1. For an access to the Arche “l’Éveil Collectif” site, shuttles departing from Place Jacques-Cartier are offered free of charge between 7pm and 7:45pm, as well as between 11pm and 11:45pm on august 11th, 12th and 13th. 
  2. To have access to the Mont-Béchervaise shows, shuttles from Place Jacques-Cartier are offered free of charge continuously between 3:45pm and 4:15pm and 6:45pm and 7:15pm on august 11th, 12th and 13th 
  3. For access to Cap-Bon-Ami, a shuttle is available on august 14th at 3:30am at a cost of 8,54 $. 

SHOW SITES

You can easily find the Hydro-Quebec Stage! It is situated at “l’Éveil Collectif Arche under a tent, a few metres away from Gaspé’s Marina (it’s the 2021’s spot). From there, you’ll be able to enjoy a wonderful view of Gaspé’s Bay and the rich melodies of our artists, which will make you dream and dance all night long.

Location and parking  

The tent is at the Arche behind the intermodal station at: 8 Marina St, Gaspé, G4X 3B1.  

The parking spot is at the Gaspé’s Carrefour: 39 Montée de Sandy Beach, Gaspé, G4X 2A9. You will encounter it approximately 400 metres from “l’Éveil Collectif Arche”.  

Renowned for its ski trails and breathtaking view of Gaspé, Mont-Béchervaise will be the mecca of powerful musical encounters. This series of high-energy shows will give rise to unforgettable experiences in the colors of the FMBM. 

Opening hours  

From thursday august 11th to saturday august 13th:

4:00 pm – Arrival at the site and ascent with the ski lift or walking (hiking for 45 minutes) 

5:00 pm – Beginning of the show  

6:00 pm – End of the show and descent on foot (around 30 minutes) 

Location and parking 

Mont-Béchervaise at 50, Eden St, Gaspé, G4X 1Z2 (a parking lot will be available) 

Accessibility  

Free shuttles from the Jacques-Cartier’s Place to Mont-Béchervaise. Available between 3:45pm to 4:15pm and 6:45pm to 7:15pm. 

Ski lift

For the safety of our children, please note that wearing a front baby carrier is ideal for toddlers (rear baby carriers are prohibited on the ski lift). In addition, each child age 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult, as for children aged between 8 and 11 the presence of at least one adult is required. Only young people aged 12 and beyond can take the ski lifts on their own.  

De la Reine’s Street will be animated every day from Friday afternoon till Sunday evening and will host “les Journées du Bout du Monde”. Young and old can come and celebrate in a festive atmosphere with activities including fanfare, acrobatics, circus, chill zone, bars and restaurants. Free concerts will also be presented on the Loto-Québec Stage, which will be at Yvette Bossé Park for the occasion.

Location and parking

For the duration of the event, De la Reine Street will be pedestrianized from Adams Street to De la Cathédrale Street. It is possible to park at the Luc Germain Arena, the Saint-Rosaire School, the head office of the Centre de Services Scolaires des Chic-Chocs, the Christ-Roi de Gaspé’s Cathedral, the Gaspé’s Cegep and the municipal parking lot on Harbour Street.  

The festival’s iconic sunrise show will take place on the grandiose site of Cap-Bon-Ami in Forillon National Park. Thrills guaranteed! 

Opening hours  

Sunday august 14th on the wee small hours of the morning:  

3:20pm – Opening of the gatehouse of the site at the north entrance of Forillon National Park 

4:45pm – Beginning of the show  

6:00pm – End of the show  

Location and parking  

The site hosting the show is situated at Cap-Bon-Ami in National Park Forillon. You can access the parking lot by the North sector at 1438, boul. Cap-des-Rosiers, Cap-des-Rosiers, G4X 6G7  

If you desire, shuttles are available to National Park Forillon (see for “Navette Place Jacques-Cartier à parc national Forillon 3h30” product in the ticket office). The shuttles leave at 3:30am from Jacques-Cartier’s Place and return at 7:00am. 

Supplementary fee 

In order to have access to the site of the show, it is mandatory to buy access to Forillon National Park (in the ticket office, see the product “accès au parc national Forillon”).
