Whether in Spanish, French or English, Boogát raps and sings about the universality of cultural minorities, with a particular focus on the themes of identity, migration, belonging and love, through lyrics that oscillate between seriousness and humor, encouraging reflection.

Boogát is a fixture on Quebec's Global Music scene, with a consistently festive and innovative sound. Its blend of styles, from hip-hop to modern Latin-American music, electro and other more traditional genres, has made it a household name both here and internationally, with several tours, immeasurable collaborations and numerous awards (Juno, Felix, Gamiq, etc.).

His next album, Del Horizonte (released in April 2024), is about decolonization, subversion and immigration, and features collaborations with El Dusty, Mateus Vidal (Olodum), DJ Shub, Okan, Tannergaard, Ahmed Moneka, Waahli, Diogo Ramos, Maï, Classic Roots and Mestre Pato (T Dot Batu).
