FMBM 2025 Favourites

The winners of the FMBM's Prix Coups de cœur 2025, from Secondaire and Cégep en spectacle, have captivated audiences with their talent in their respective competitions. Come and meet them on August 10 at 1 p.m. on the Loto-Québec stage on rue de la Reine, to celebrate this unique moment with our exceptional artistic youth!

From C.-E. Pouliot School:
Talented and promising young singer-songwriter Aurélie Chiasson has made a name for herself with her song Attentes. Surrounded by her musicians, Vincent Chiasson on guitar, Lily Charlotte Spain on keyboard, Éloi Deraîche on bass and Liam Arsenault on drums, she delivered a mature performance.
These musicians then formed a new group for a second number, accompanied by Étienne Francoeur and Bruno Rochefort, to perform Sharpen Up by the group High Fade, a vibrant number that earned them top honors at the regional finals (North) of Secondaire en spectacle.

From Antoine-Roy School:
The group Détour, or rather the 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙, charmed with their delicate harmonies, poise and energy. Made up of Lya Maude Noël on vocals, accompanied by backing singers Erika Cloutier and Marily Dumaresq, Clara Blouin on guitar, Karel Gauthier on bass and Maelie Chouinard on mandolin, the group freshly embodies the talent of the next generation.

From Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles :
Ellie Couturier
With plenty of emotion to convey in both words and music, Ellie delivers a performance that perfectly blends public speaking, singing and music in a spellbinding universe.

ECHO is a group of 6 musicians who discovered the stage thanks to Secondaire en spectacle. All passionate about music and curious to discover the unknown, they have been influenced by Quebec alternative music, jazz, psychedelic and progressive rock. As part of Cégeps en spectacle, they performed the song J'aurai les cheveux longs, written by Klô Pelgag, and their own composition Départ.

A rendez-vous not to be missed with the passion, creativity and authenticity of our young generation of artists.
