The FMBM "Coup de cœur" Award FMBM an honor presented by the Festival Musique du Bout du Monde a standout performance in the "Secondaire et Cégep en spectacle" category, offering young artists special recognition and a spot in the festival’s lineup.

C.-E.-Pouliot High School – December 17, 2025

The award was presented for a remarkable reinterpretation of “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed” (Allman Brothers Band). Driven by a masterful blend of rock, blues, and jazz, this performance highlighted the performers’ interpretive freedom, musical cohesion, and artistic maturity: Étienne Francoeur, Éloi Deraiche, Liam Arsenault, Jérôme Fournier, Édouard Jacques, and Kaleb Leblanc.

The jury highlighted the stage presence, vocal harmony, and overall quality of the performance by the group ULTRA, who performed “Marine Marchande” by Les Cowboys Fringants. It was an energetic and polished performance, driven by a strong sense of unity among the artists: Erika Cloutier, Marily Dumaresq, Jade Langlois, Lohan Synnott, Julianne Dunn, Lya-Maude Noël, Maélie Chouinard, and Nathan Joncas.

The Musique du Bout du Monde Festival Musique du Bout du Monde its FMBM Coup de Cœur prize to a memorable performance that combined singing and public speaking.
