DJ Sugarface Belfo is a Montreal-based DJ who has been active since the early 2000s. She is known for her sets rooted in world music, blending Afrobeat, funk, disco, Afro-Latin house, and Caribbean rhythms, which she curates with a keen eye for musical progression and atmosphere.

As Director of World Music at CJLO 1690 AM since 2003, she has been actively promoting this genre. She is also a co-founder of Flat Cola and the driving force behind the International Women’s DJ project, which supports the visibility of female DJs.

A regular presence at various venues and events in Montreal, DJ Sugarface Belfo delivers performances that embrace musical diversity and cultural exchange.

On August 8 at the Paquebot Café, Sugarface Belfo will turn the night into a musical journey.
