_______________
Less Toches is the musical collision of five explosive personalities—an unexpected and refreshing cumbia explosion on the island of Montreal.
The timeless magic of the southern folk troubadours takes on a poetic, passionate, and playful tone here: Less Toches takes its name from a Latin American bird and a Colombian expression meaning “clumsy.”
Humor and flight translate into a fresh and deep interpretation of the peasant and riverside spirit of cumbia and accordion music.
Their Colombian, Mexican, Cuban, and Argentine roots come together to bring to life the rhythms that shaped their childhoods through folk tradition: Montreal’s continental cumbia!
