The creation of the group was the brainchild of Rabie Houti, a renowned violinist on the Oranese scene whose Arabo-Andalusian repertoire has always been an invitation to travel.

As soon as he set foot on the banks of the Lez, his violin soon brought together musicians from all horizons, eager to share. This encounter gave birth to the Rabie Houti Band, which today offers a rich and varied fusion of music, combining the oriental gentleness of revisited Arabo-Andalusian airs, the percussive energy of a blues range, the unstoppable groove of an Afrobeat rhythm, and the lightness of a swing.

Nothing is lost. Everything is transformed. Drawing on the diverse musical influences of each member, the Rabie Houti Band creates a unique, multicolored soundscape conducive to joy, celebration and travel.
