Sarah Louis-Jean

Sarah Louis-Jean: elegance of movement, power of rhythm

From classical ballet to circus arts, Sarah Louis-Jean is a complete artist with a remarkable career path. Trained in dance from the age of 3, she went on to study at the most prestigious schools, including the École supérieure de ballet du Québec and the National Ballet School of Canada. At a very young age, she was already treading the stage in The Nutcracker with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.

Over the years, she has enriched her artistic palette with musical theater, acting on camera and a multitude of dance styles - from flamenco to tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary.

It was at the École nationale de cirque de Montréal that she perfected her specialty: the percussive and spectacular art of the boleadoras, which she handles with unequalled precision and ardor. A graduate in circus arts teaching, she shines as a performer, coach and artistic director, notably with Cirque du Soleil.

On stage, she electrifies audiences around the world: at the Vancouver and Sochi Olympic Games, at the Casino de Montréal (alongside Céline Dion), in Germany with Cirque Roncalli, in Australia at Dracula's Cabaret, and with Les 7 doigts de la main and Cirque Éloize.

Recognized by the world's leading dance magazine, Sarah is a passionate artist who never stops pushing the boundaries of her art. At her performances, expect to be transported by a magnetic stage presence, a spellbinding mastery of rhythm and an authentic connection with the audience.
