Noé Lira

A singer-songwriter trained in theater and dance, Noé Lira is a complete artist who loves to explore the blending of forms and cultures. A first-generation Québéco-Mexican, her creations are multi-faceted, multi-disciplinary and rooted in current affairs, addressing themes such as violence against women and the need for social change. A firm believer in the power of ritual to bring about collective transformation, her approach always aspires to encounter and dialogue, seeking from the outset to raise voices, untie bodies and bring spirits together.

His musical universe is a hybrid between Latin rhythms, alternative and pop. Noé Lira offers a trilingual, immersive and collaborative quartet show filled with humor and authenticity. She is currently working on her next album, due for release in winter 2025.

Since the release of her debut album Latiendo la Tierra in 2021, conceived by an all-female team, Noé Lira has been named Revelation of the Year by Radio-Canada, and has garnered multiple awards and nominations (best album in the World Music category at ADISQ and GAMIQ, three nominations at Latin Awards Canada, and several "Coup de cœur" awards at MUZ, Vue sur la Relève, ROSEQ and Artisti), as well as an official selection showcase at RIDEAU. This was followed by an extensive tour of Quebec, enabling her show to be presented across the province. She also appeared on television, playing leading roles in the series L'Empereur (Noovo) and La Candidate (ICI télé).
