Tina Leon

Tina Leon, first known as Marie-Christine Depestre, is a singer-songwriter from Montreal who draws her inspiration from the Motown generation and the soul music of recent decades. Having sung and collaborated with the likes of Stevie Wonder, DJ Champion, Lionel Richie, Daniel Bélanger, Damien Robitaille and Garou, she now appears in a new light, more authentic and full of life than ever.

In reference to the nickname given to her by her family, and as a tribute to her maternal grandmother, this choice of a new stage name is a way for her to fully express her personality, assert her art and thus find a form of balance.

Self-described as a rainbow of soul, her two mini-albums "PUSH" and "PULL" are colorful journeys through jazzy, funk and pop rhythms with rich, haunting melodies.
